The Daikin e-Care application is available for free download and requires an approved Stand By Me account for access.

The app encompasses several functionalities designed to support HVAC professionals:

• My Installations: This feature allows installers to register new installations efficiently. Manual data entry is minimized through a smart QR code scanner, which automatically retrieves the product name and serial number of each unit. Users can upload commissioning documents simply by capturing photos with any mobile device. GPS tracking enables the app to instantly recognize the installation location. Integration with Stand By Me ensures all registered installations are reflected in the professional’s central database.
• e-Configurator: Facilitates quick and straightforward configuration of heating system settings, specifically suited for Daikin’s range of heat pumps. Configuration begins by scanning the QR code on the unit’s nameplate or manually entering the product name. Users can choose between ‘easy’ and ‘advanced’ modes for parameter adjustments. Basic system-related parameters are set in a few clicks within the first tab, followed by space heating configurations in the next. For certain solutions, an additional Domestic Hot Water tab is available. The interface allows for defining all heat generator settings within approximately 8 to 10 clicks, with a comprehensive overview of all configurations provided at the end. Changes are highlighted for clarity. Settings can be saved as PDFs or exported to USB sticks or SD cards, compatible with the latest Altherma 3 units. The e-Configurator is accessible as both an app and a web application; if device limitations prevent USB connections, configuration can be performed from a PC.
• e-Doctor: This mobile application assists service technicians during troubleshooting, component diagnostics, and repairs of Daikin units. It provides technical data and direct links to the Daikin Business Portal. Access requires logging in with a Daikin Business Portal account for full e-Care functionality, or with a Stand By Me account for basic features. The e-Doctor operates online and necessitates a continuous internet connection via WiFi or mobile data to function effectively.
